Finance Manager - Social Care

Ackerman Pierce is actively seeking a Finance Manager to join their team within Kirklees. This exciting opportunity, initially for a 6-month term, comes with the potential for extension based on performance and internal circumstances.

Candidates with Local Authority experience will be given preference.

Duties for role

• You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, high quality, financial service including
• the management and supervision of staff.
• You will be a visible leader, manage resources effectively, and be passionate about making a difference.
• In doing this you will be expected to provide and share information in a clear and concise

manner to build understanding.

• You will have management responsibility for a finance team, be a positive role model, and

ensure commitment towards team goals and Service vision and priorities.

• It will be your responsibility to performance manage your team and ensure we deliver to our customers.
• You will look to create positive working relationships and be committed to developing your

team and yourself.
