Finance Manager - Supply Chain Login To Save This Vacancy

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager – Supply Chain to join the B&M Finance team here at Support Centre in Speke, L24. This is a full time, in the office and permanent role.

We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a focus on attention to detail and a genuine passion for financial analysis to join our Finance department. We have a terminology here at B&M known as “B&M speed” which translates to pace therefore we need someone who can work at our pace too!

You will be reporting to the Head of Financial Performance, delivering financial reporting and analysis for our B&M Transport team and Distribution Centres. This means front facing to Directors and Senior Leadership Team colleagues so you need to be confident in knowing the detail and presenting first hand.

The Key Accountabilities in the role are:

• Preparing and presenting weekly costs for the various sites
• Monthly accruals and prepayments & GL reconciliations
• KPI reporting and working with sites to driver better performance.
• Ensure delivery of budgets and forecasts in line with required timelines
• Working with the Supply Chain Director to provide analysis on various projects and clear decision-making support
• Attending senior Supply Chain meetings and presenting clear and concise summary of financial performance
• Identify and implement actions to improve quality and timeliness of financial information within their area.

The ideal candidate:

• Be a part qualified or qualified accountant
• Experience ideally of finance management in Supply Chain or Logistics
• Be able to work under pressure, manage a diverse and competing workload ensuring deadlines are met
• Have good communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support the business decision making
• Be able to take accountability for your own development plan as well as coach and guide direct reports
• Skilled in Microsoft Office programs and preferably possess Oracle experience
• The role will include travel between our DCs but will be based in Liverpool, a driving licence is essential.
