Hyde is looking to recruit a Finance Manager specializing in Real Estate Tax.

As a Finance Manager, you will be working within the Finance and resources department to assist the Group Tax Manager in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and minimizing tax liabilities for the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Managing the efficient, effective, and compliant operation of the Hyde’s direct and indirect tax affairs, including VAT, Corporation tax, Stamp duty, CIS and PAYE matters.
- Managing the planning, preparation, and analysis of all tax returns for Group with support from relevant tax and wider finance team members, including subsidiaries and relevant partners, ensuring all statutory submissions are compliant and made within deadlines.
- Ensuring compliant and timely filings of all HMRC requirements, whilst providing input into strategic matters.
- Managing tax compliance, filing and risk management across all tax matters for Hyde.
- Providing strategic advice on the management of tax within Hyde, introducing new, tax efficient, ways of working to identify and realise cost and cash savings for the organisation.
- Coaching the broader finance, development, legal and related departments on Direct and Indirect tax matters.
- Keep abreast of new legislation and legal decisions, identifying risks and exposure, and make relevant and timely recommendations.
Skills and experience required
Essential
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA,ACA,CA etc)
- CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in a tax compliance & management role.
- Experience within either the property, housing or real estate sectors/ tax and real estate sectors.
- UK tax experience including:
- Corporation Tax
- VAT
- VAT partial exemption
- CIS (construction industry scheme) Tax
Desirable
Tax compliance experience in:
- LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) tax
- SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax)
