SalaryWe are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager Role in a leading, dynamic sector leader, the role is based South Manchester, and offers hybrid working:
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packs in a timely manner.
- Statutory Accounts: Prepare statutory accounts for all legal entities, including half-year and year-end Group accounts.
- Compliance: Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and statutory laws to ensure the Group's compliance.
- Audit Process: Collaborate with auditors during the half-year review and year-end audit process for accurate reporting.
- Tax Compliance: Work with tax consultants to ensure compliance with HMRC and European tax authorities.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity of financial data provided to other areas of the business.
- FP&A and M&A Support: Assist with the Group's financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, including forecasting and modeling.
- Stakeholder Management: Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant: ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Practice Experience: Ideally, looking for a candidate who is making their first or second move out of practice.
- Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of IFRS and FRS 102 statutory reporting.
- Accounting Expertise: Strong technical expertise in accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels.
Salary Expectation:
The salary range offered for this position is £45,000 to £50,000, targeting individuals from a chartered audit background who are looking to transition into the industry.
