Finance Master Data Management Lead - Finance Transformation

Our client is the largest of its kind in Europe and has also expanded into North America and Canada in particular. The business has formed as a Group, made up of lots of individual businesses of varying size. To bring the business together, various Transformation programmes are ongoing for HR, Finance and Digital.

As part of a Finance Transformation programme, they have decided to implement Oracle Fusion across the business (General Ledger to start with). They are right at the design phase and building a team to cover all areas which includes Master Data Management Lead, Reporting Lead, Data Engineer and Power BI Developer.

They currently have a data warehouse where key systems including OpenAccounts and their practice management systems (that run their business) feed into, but the data warehouse is going to be re-engineered and the finance data will be fed into Oracle Fusion in time and to the data warehouse.

The Finance Master Data Management Lead will work with a big 4 consultancy and across the business to determine the Data strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Define and set up processes for end-to-end financial transactions
• Complete data, data governance, standardise data, data quality
• Implement Best Practice

Skills and experience:

• Previously been responsible for the design and roll out of a Master Data Management strategy for finance data at an Enterprise Level
• Worked closely with Commercial Finance, Senior Leadership, and external consultancies.
• Have templates to bring to demonstrate prior successful MDM.
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) preferred
• 3 days per week in Bristol (Tues to Thur)
