Your new company

Hays are delighted to be working with an amazing public body who do excellent work within our community. They are seeking a Finance Officer for an initial period of 6 months with a possible extension.

Your new role
•Assist with maintenance of Financial Systems/Ledgers.
•Assist with the preparation of payroll and pension for Sage.
•Assist with management of all financial processing functions.
•Assist with Management Accounts and Statutory Accounts Preparation
•Assist with in-year budget management and monitoring,
•Liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
•Development and review of financial software systems

What you'll need to succeed
•Excellent technical skills with demonstrable experience using accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.
•Experience of collation and monitoring of both financial and non-financial information to assist with management reporting.
