TwentyAI has formed a partnership with a Private Equity firm and is currently seeking a Finance Operations Manager who will be hands-on and deeply involved in the day-to-day operations.
This role is situated within the Corporate Operations Team and reports directly to the Head of Corporate Operations. The primary responsibility will be overseeing all aspects of Finance Operations, which includes Billing and Receivables Management, Accounts Payable, and Cash Operations. The core objective is to efficiently manage these functions and deliver services that meet the needs of the Financial Controller teams and other stakeholders. As the Finance Operations Manager, you will directly manage a team of four individuals and hold accountability for the performance and coordination of a nine-member Finance Operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets related to Billing and Receivables Management, including cash collections, ensuring timely invoice generation, efficient cash collection, and effective resolution of any exceptions.
- Manage all components of Accounts Payable, including tasks such as invoice processing, payment handling, and the accurate and timely recording of associated transactions.
- Supervise the functions of Cash Operations, which involve managing funding for internal entities through electronic banking systems and ongoing monitoring of cash flow as needed.
- Take charge of the periodic closing procedures for the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ledgers, ensuring adherence to predetermined closing calendars.
- Supervise a team of up to nine individuals across roles within Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Operations, ensuring continuous training and professional development opportunities for team members.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate substantial senior-level, hands-on experience, with a minimum of three years in a transactional finance setting.
- Possess expert knowledge of Billing and Receivables, Accounts Payable, and Cash Operations processes, as well as a deep understanding of the operational cycle and associated double-entry bookkeeping.
- Exhibit a solid comprehension of the working capital lifecycle.
- ACCA/CIMA qualifications would be considered advantageous.
- Display a strong system-oriented mindset, including the ability to understand application configurations, underlying reasoning, and the capability to diagnose applications for error resolution.
