Accounts Payables Manager Operations

This Accounts Payable Manager (Operations) role is essential to the smooth running of the accounting and finance department and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to overseeing financial operations, improving financial processes, and driving the financial planning of the company across the accounts payable function.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established, international consultancy firm based in West End, London. This role will join their operational head office in West End London, working within their London-Amsterdam-Brussels finance operational team to help continue to standardise the accounts payable functions and help to drive the business forward.

Description

As the Accounts Payable Manager (Operations) your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all areas of Source to Pay, travel & expenses and corporate card expenses
• Overseeing the financial operations team (team of 2)
• Reporting into and liaising with Brussels and Amsterdam Finance Ops managers/directors
• Leading audits and analysis across finance ops
• Performing payment run reviews before authorisation
• Leading the standardisation of new system (SAP) and across Coupa (expenses)
• Ensuring efficient month and year-end close in line with Global Accounting timetable
• Overseeing administration of all aspects for senior support and queries
• Managing the corporate card programmes

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience managing and accounts payable team and overseeing accounts payable function
• Experience with P2P / S2P systems and expenses
• Experience within professional / business services is desirable
• Experience with SAP (S4hana) and Coupa is highly desirable
• Experience implementing and/or improving systems and processes
• Ability to build and maintain strong and positive relationships with high management and stakeholders
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Offer

• £50,000 to £60,000 salary
