Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Officer.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer (at least 3 years) (Essential)

Experience of accounts payable within an educational institution or local authority education department (Essential) Experience of SAP and Excel Very good communicator and ability to work under pressure.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. To process invoices/payment schedules on behalf of the SEND Team as appropriate
2. To support the Business & Finance Manager with the administrative systems and further development of them in the SEND Team.

1. Responsibility for archiving and file management within the SEND Team. 
2. To support the Business & Finance Manager and with specific data requests.
3. To take and deliver telephone messages on behalf of the SEND Team.
4. Ensure the highest quality of written and oral communication with clients.
5. Maintain accurate and comprehensive pupil records.
6. Prioritise and action all correspondence received to ensure it is dealt with promptly and effectively.
7. To carry out all duties in accordance with Southwark’s Education’s Equal Opportunities Policy.
8. To carry out other duties that commensurate with the post as required by the line manager.
