Grafton Banks Finance are recruiting an Interim Finance Project Manager for a rapidly expanding global business near Brighton in East Sussex. 2-3 days per week remote working is on offer. The role is for an initial period of 6 months. We are awaiting IR35 status.
The role is split into the following areas:
Group Rationalisation Project:
- Lead the novation of supplier and customer contracts to the parent company.
- Close unnecessary entities and streamline intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance and minimal disruption to the business.
Process Mapping and Improvement Project:
- Thoroughly map all current finance processes to create a baseline.
- Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy, while reducing manual input.
- Recommend automation opportunities to enhance productivity.
Systems Upgrade:
- Manage the transition to a new accounting software package, ensuring it meets business requirements.
- Oversee the outsourcing of payroll, ensuring the chosen provider aligns with company needs and compliance standards.
- Coordinate with IT and software vendors to ensure a smooth and successful system changeover.
We are looking for a readily available interim finance professional with experience of:
- Experience in leading finance transformation initiatives.
- A project management qualification (like PMP or PRINCE2) could be advantageous but not essential.
- Experience in business process analysis and mapping.
- Skilled in identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
- Proficient with process mapping tools.
- Previous involvement in selecting and implementing finance systems.
- Understanding of the technical aspects of finance systems to liaise effectively with IT professionals.
