JOB TITLE: Finance SME - Finance Platform
SALARY: £61,641 - £68,490
LOCATION: Bristol or Edinburgh
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days a week) in either our Bristol or Edinburgh office

The Finance Platform is a team of c1000 colleagues within the wider Finance Division (c2,600) with responsibility for the core platforms, processes, financial reporting, controls, and transformation for Finance. It also supports Finance through provision of Divisional responsibilities, People & Culture initiatives, Systems & Data capabilities, and Strategy development.
This is an exciting new role within the Finance Platform, working on the Strategic Ledger Integration and Business Readiness aspect of the Finance Transformation Programme. The role will offer you the chance to help us deliver the UK’s largest financial services transformation to make sure we remain relevant for our customers today and tomorrow whilst providing an opportunity to build lasting relationships with colleagues across Finance and the wider Group.

What you’ll be doing:

This role sits at Platform-level and covers both business and technology change. The purpose of the SME is to analyse key themes using data from a wide range of sources to identify possible impacts on the business, manage relationships with internal customers and 3rd parties and act as their business partner, while taking guidance from senior colleagues, write and edit materials for a variety of target populations, tailoring the tone and content to match the needs and expectations of each audience and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures and deliver these changes, all whilst being part of the Finance Transformation Programme.
