Our Leicester-based client, a successful family-owned manufacturer is looking to grow their finance team, hiring a Financial Accountant to join their expanding team.
A Financial Accountant role focusing on reporting and control would make a significant move from practice, or for a technically industry-trained accountant who is looking to increase their experience and challenge themselves in a new role
Responsibilities:
* Preparing statutory accounts
* Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
* Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and report variances
* Bank payment authorisation and cash flow management
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Support month-end and close year-end process
* Assisting with audit processes
* Develop and document robust business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control
