Financial Accountant, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. £45,000pa to £55,000pa plus bonus + study support.

Role
The role will be to assist the Head of Group Financial Accounting and help manage the Assistant Financial Accountants as needed.
Preparation of financial accounting journals and reconciliations for tangible and intangible assets and IFRS 16, management of the month-end processes and preparation of the monthly finance reporting pack through to the annual management and preparation of the tax packs, statutory accounts and year end audit support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Statutory accounts
- Tax packs
- Year end audit support
- Assistance in managing the assistant Financial Accountants
- Calculating additions and modifications to IFRS 16 lease assets
- Reconciling the IFRS 16 lease models to the ledgers
The ideal candidate:
- Newly ACCA/ACA qualified/ finalist or part qualified with strong work experience
- Not essential but desired to have entertainment or Hospitality experience (multi-site)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
