Junior Accountant

Orka Financial is recruiting for a Junior Accountant to join a well establish business based in High Wycombe and is fully office based. The role reports into the Finance Manager and comes with study support.
The Junior Accountant position would suit a candidate who has previous experience supporting a team within a broad finance role and is looking to further their career, great opportunity to be part of a growing business.
Key responsibilities:

• Manage all bank reconciliations
• Monthly payroll and benefits processes.
• Manage the fixed assets
• Prepare & post journal
• Prepare and post journal entries at month end in line with reporting deadlines & reconcile associated balance sheet accounts
• To prepare and report UK VAT & Intrastat submissions in line with HMRC requirements
• Manage the inter company process
• Assist the Accounts Payable function
• Support Finance Team members with preparation, reviews and reporting of Annual Plan

Key skills:

• Awareness of financial reporting and compliance
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Strong time management and experience of multi- tasking
• A high standard of computer literacy and intermediate Excel skills are essential.

Salary £28,000 - £32,000 + study support + further benefits and onsite parking.
