SalaryThis role would suit individuals seeking to make their first move from practice into industry. This is a technical role which will expose you to group accounting/consolidations, mergers and acquisitions and complex financial reporting.
This role sits within the senior management team and you will be responsible for promoting and building relationships with key stakeholders as well as driving and influencing change. This is a progressive opportunity which will pave the way to future roles which will advance your accounting and commercial experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Director of Finance and Group Financial Reporting Manager to develop and implement robust internal controls within Finance
- Support the Director of Finance and Group Financial Reporting Manager in external reporting compliance
- Responsible for the production of year end statutory accounts under IFRS, including consolidated accounts.
- Work with heads of departments to ensure reporting deadlines are adhered to
- Preparation of the groups consolidated accounts
- Assist with year end audit process
- Take a lead in any technical accounting projects
- ACA/ACCA qualified (essential)
- Advance level of Excel
- Highly attentive and with an eye for detail
Working Pattern:
- Hybrid 2/3 days per week in the office
- Salary £60k - £65k
