Just a 10 minute walk from Colchester train station, this newly-created role as a Financial Accountant will offer you exposure to the varied affairs of a hugely successful enterprise, including an array of global revenue streams and exciting industries. With hybrid working, beautifully modern offices and a generous package, this role is an exceptionally rare opportunity in the commercial finance market.
This is a well-rounded position covering the preparation of statutory annual accounts, Corporation Tax, VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, share scheme reconciliations and other ad-hoc work as required for around 150 EMEA companies.
To succeed in this role, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong knowledge of Financial & Tax Accounting best practices, processes and technology. You will have experience in a similar role, or be making a first move from an accountancy practice. The ability to manage your own deadlines and priorities, whilst providing occasional input in the development of junior members, is essential.
Your package will include: a salary of £48,000 - £53,000, hybrid working with 2 days in the Colchester office per week, money purchase pension scheme & life assurance, 25 days annual holiday (increasing to 27 days after 2 years), a Share Incentive Plan and more.
