Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant Uckfield (outskirts), £50,000 - £60,000 p/a, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm (some flexibility required), hybrid after settling in period, performance and profit related bonus scheme, pensions scheme, onsite parking. The Role Travail Employment Group are excited to be working with our client in their search for a Financial Accountant to join their busy team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is ACCA or CIMA qualified, with experience in a similar position. This position is responsible for assessing, communicating and navigating the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments to guide the company towards profitability and long-term success. Drive the financial planning of the company by analysis of its performance and risks Business partnership with key functions/teams in the business to support and improve financial acumen and enable best informed decision making. Set targets for and supervise UK accounting and finance personnel (accountant, finance analyst and admin etc.). Prepare annual budgets and forecasts liaising with all elements of business Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems. The Person Proven experience as Management Accountant / Financial Controller or similar role and be qualified to ACCA or CIMA level. You will require experience of Financial oversight of commercial teams/factory/operations, costing and finance. You will possess a broad knowledge of all accounting, financial and business principles, laws and best practices. You will also have sound knowledge across the Microsoft office suite and financial management software (QAD would be an advantage).
