SalaryWe are currently working in partnership with a charity with national prestige based in Central London, who are recruiting for a Financial Accountanton a permanent basis.
With an immediate start, this position is paying up to £45,000 and offers 4 days working from home with flexible hours.
The ideal candidate will be part qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent), have experience in a similar position and pride themselves on fantastic communication skills.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing a transactional team of two, namely an Accounts Payable Assistant and Accounts Receivable Assistant
- Overseeing the entire financial accounting process, including maintaining the nominal ledger, identifying CAPEX and preparing a variety of reports
- Reconciling the balance sheet control accounts, including accruals & prepayments, as well as supporting the Management Accounting in producing monthly accounts
- Partnering with the Head of Finance to manage the external audit and prepare annual budgets
- Upkeeping the Fixed Assets Register, ensuring records are up to date and assets are recorded and depreciated according to policy
Experience required:
- Experience required in a similar financial accounting position
- Experience in the public sector
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills and preferably knowledge of Open Accounts
- Part qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)

Working hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible hours on offer)
