Responsibilities
• Oversee and lead all areas of the finance team • Support the Director of Finance and Head of finance in maintaining financial control procedures • Prepare reports on financial performance indicators • Liaise with partner agencies and stakeholders to resolve queries • Provide technical support on taxation issues • Manage annual accounts and payroll reconciliation • Liaise with auditors • Support capital program monitoring and financial input to business proposals • Manage the immediate finance team • Contribute to budget-setting
Requirements
• Accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) • Experience in similar role • Knowledge of financial ledgers and reporting systems • Specialist knowledge of financial and accounting procedures (UK GAAP) • Effective communication skills • Experience in producing reports for senior management • Budget setting and management reporting experience • Experience in operating financial ledgers • Development and implementation of financial policies and procedures • Experience in managing, mentoring, and supervision
