The Role:
- Ensure financial accounting processes are completed effectively within agreed targets.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items promptly.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and prepare cash flow forecasts and balance sheet reports.
- Support the Financial Controller in preparing monthly performance and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of financial and operational controls and procedures.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CIPFA) with evidence of continuous professional development.
- Must have worked in a housing association.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and ability to provide and interpret financial information.
- Circa £50,000 and benefits package.
- Hybrid working - 1 day a week in the office near Aylesford.
