Your new role
A Financial Accountant role, reporting to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for: All aspects of day to day Financial Accounting, including periodic review of the trial balance, balance sheet, working capital and cashflow. You will support the FC with statutory accounts preparation at year end. You will work to improve processes around GRNI, Creditors and Debtors and other transactional controls. You will ensure compliance with tax regulations, including Corporation Tax & VAT. Review periodic payroll submissions. You will also support the FC with budget & forecasting. This will include the ongoing development of a 5-year finance plan, including cash forecasting & capital investment appraisals. You will assist in the production of the annual business plan and quarterly forecasts. Review of the rolling CAPEX forecast, including sensitivity analysis, risks and potential opportunities.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant, with strong balance sheet and financial accounting experience. You will have experience of a large and complex business and be comfortable with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle. You will have strong communication skills and be highly organised in approach. You will be available to start at short notice and happy to commit to a 12 month FTC.
