Your new role
Reporting to the financial controller your responsibilities will include :
- Month-end activities including group reporting, allocations, journals, invoicing, balance-sheet reconciliations and running month end reports.
- Ownership of the annual Statutory audit process, including preparation of the statutory financial accounts and key point of contact with the external auditors.
- Assembling data for quarterly and annual Tax filings.
- Maintaining Finance user facing documentation and systems e.g., Expense forms and Delegation of Authority
- Asset impairment review.
- Working closely with the finance business partners to support the wider business.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified - Qualified by Experience will also be considered
- Good understanding of month end procedures.
- Ability to work on your own initiative at a site with a very small finance team.
- Ability to plan and prioritise work and use time efficiently and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Enthusiastic, process driven accountant with a proactive approach.
- Intellectually curious and willing to critically challenge and engage with the business.
- Excellent communicator and team player.
- High proficiency in Excel / Strong IT Skills.
