Your new company
Your new company is a globally recognised transport business with their European shared service centre based in South Manchester.

Your new role
In your new role as Financial Accountant you'll focus primarily on the management of the IFRS16 lease accounting processes and preparation of 4 weekly VAT returns. You will assist with the budgeting and forecasting for IFRS16 leases. You'll assist with the month-end close process. You'll assist with the preparation of the year-end tax information packs. You'll carry out reconciliations between source records, the lease accounting system and the ledger.

What you'll need to succeed
You be ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE. You'll have experience producing VAT returns and familiar with IFRS16. Experience working within a shared service centre is preferred but not essential. You'll have advanced excel skills and be experienced at manipulating large volumes of data. You'll have experience liaising with auditors.
