Description
You will be working as part of a team of c. 13 in finance and will be reporting into the Financial Controller. Your role will be extremely "hands on". Your duties will be varied, and will include, but will not be limited to:
- Producing the monthly management accounts with analysis
- Reviewing the P&L and costs with budget holders
- Supporting with budgeting and forecasting
- Supporting with year end audit
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Journals, accruals and prepayments
- VAT and Intrastat returns
- ONS surveys
- Banking and cashflow forecasting
Profile
To apply for this position, you do not need experience of all of the above duties, as the Financial Controller will train and mentor you. However, you:
- Must have experience of VAT returns, or understand UK VAT principles
- Must have proven experience of working in management accounts
- Will ideally be studying AAT, CIMA or ACCA, or be qualified by experience
- Live within a commutable distance to Afreton.
