Job Overview
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. As the Financial Accountant, you will oversee monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts, and ensure budgeting and forecasting is in the right place.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed monthly financial account packs for each division and manufacturing site.
- Oversee P&L, cashflow, commercial analysis and the balance sheet
- Take full ownership of all financial figures within your manufacturing sites
- Analyse the work of more junior staff.
- Generate detailed commentary along with insightful variance reports, while overseeing commercial reporting
- Support the Financial Controller in creating month-end management reports for review by the UK FD.
- Complete VAT returns and look at cashflow reporting
- Foster strong relationships with senior business partners
- Oversee the production of year-end financial statements at subsidiary level in accordance with FRS 102
Location / Office / Culture
The role is based in Dudley and offered with hybrid working of 3 days in office and 2 day from home with an enthusiastic team under great management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified or training towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, etc.).
- Industry or practice experience is welcomed
- A strong, broad skillset is required
- First time movers from practice also welcome
