Financial Accountant

Ivy Rock Partners is thrilled to be working with an outstanding University to recruit a Financial Accountant into their team. The post-holder will play a key role, alongside another Financial Accountant, in supporting the Assistant Director of Finance.

This is a hybrid role, looking for someone to come in to the office 3 days a week and they offer flexible working hours.

This role would be perfect for someone straight out of audit or a fully qualified accountant who is ambitious, looking to develop their technical skills.

Role responsibilities:

• Preparing annual accounts
• Responsible for the completion of monthly reconciliations, including key control accounts
• Assist in the development and ongoing provision of monthly balance sheet reporting
• Continuously review processes in which they are involved in and suggest and implement agreed changes
• Liaising with external auditors
• Planning for, and delivering annual statutory accounts ad corporation tax returns

You will be:

• A fully qualified accountant
• Able to build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders
• Experienced in year-end analysis and providing supporting documentation for internal and external auditors
• Experienced in managing Fixed Assets
• Experienced in managing month-end processes and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Able to communicate clearly
• Familiar with Finance IT systems
