Description

• Oversee and manage financial processes and reporting
• Production of the Statutory Accounts.
• Oversee the completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including all bank accounts and control accounts
• Manage the revaluation of a multi-currency environment.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Provide financial advice and recommendations to senior management
• Lead and manage finance team members
• Coordinate audit processes
• Review and implement financial policies
• Management of the anti-terrorist finance review system (FinScan)
• Work with People & Culture when required to assist with payroll queries.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Previous experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in accounting software
