Description
- Join a small team responsible for the financial reporting (Group, statutory and regulatory reporting) for a life insurance entity, retail insurance business and other smaller business areas;
- Support the team in all areas of financial reporting;
- Be responsible for maintaining a robust control environment by maintaining and monitoring key financial controls, such as balance sheet reconciliations;
- Support finance transformation projects;
- Support risk management processes by monitoring and reporting on key financial risk areas, such as market, credit and liquidity risk;
- Provide administration support to governance committees, such as the Asset and Liability Management Committee and the Financial Reporting Committee
- Work closely with the business to support new propositions and growth.
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience;
- Financial control, Audit or Risk background;
- Financial Reporting and Balance Sheet reconciliation experience;
- Statutory and regulatory Insurance reporting experience is desirable;
- Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders (at all levels of seniority).
