Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing business, is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a newly created position, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall financial health of the organisation.
Key responsibilities of the Financial Accounting Manager
- Month-end and year-end processes
- Maintain detailed balance sheet reconciliations
- Contribute to the production and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packs
- Participate in the preparation of SOX control compliance
- Resolve VAT and Corporation Tax inquiries and perform related analysis
Key essentials of the Financial Accounting Manager
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP and SOX
- Advanced analytical and Excel skills
