We are currently seeking an expert individual to join this team in the role of Financial Accounting Manager.
In this role, you will:
• Join a small team responsible for the financial reporting (HSBC Group, statutory and regulatory reporting) for a life insurance entity, retail insurance business and other smaller business areas;
• Support the team in all areas of financial reporting;
• Be responsible for maintaining a robust control environment by maintaining and monitoring key financial controls, such as balance sheet reconciliations;
• Support finance transformation projects;
• Support risk management processes by monitoring and reporting on key financial risk areas, such as market, credit and liquidity risk;
• Provide administration support to governance committees, such as the Asset and Liability Management Committee (ALCO) and the Financial Reporting Committee (FRC);
• Work closely with the business to support new propositions and growth.
