Role Details
We are looking for an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to join an established automotive business based in the Tamworth area on a 6-month fixed term contact. This is a great opportunity for a high performing individual to join a fast-growing business where they can develop their career.

Responsibilities of the Financial Accounting Manager
* The Financial Accounting Manager will be responsible for processing and reviewing month end close postings as well as maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations for UK company
* A key part of the role will involve the preparation and submission of monthly US GAAP accounting adjustments in addition to involvement in the preparation of SOX control compliance during close processes, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately
* The Financial Accounting Manager will be responsible for responding to queries from external and internal auditors as necessary and resolving any VAT and Corporation Tax issues
* The individual will need to ensure financial data is presented with integrity to other areas of the business and focus on improving the overall financial controls and monthly close procedures
* Further to the above, you will be required to support the Head of Management Reporting with the day-to-day management of the department and support with ad hoc tasks when required

Skills required of the Financial Accounting Manager
* A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* Experience of US GAAP and SOX
* Strong analytical and excel skills
* Experience of working for an FMCG business
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate with the non-finance colleagues
