VANRATH are delighted to be working with a large manufacturing company in County Down, who are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a growing finance function. Due to recent success and acquisitions this is a newly created role responsible for KPIs and variance reporting.
The role
The Financial Analyst will be joining a team of 3 and will report into the Operations Manager. This role is responsible for developing operational KPIs and producing variance reports for labour and materials. An excellent opportunity to join a growing team within a larger finance function. What you'll do
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for:
- Oversee variance reporting on a daily and weekly basis
- Assist the Finance Manager with developing Supply Chain KPIs and enhanced reporting
- Working with Operations teams to ensure robust product costings are produced
- Monthly valuation and reporting of stocks & WIP
- Continuous improvement- recommend and implement process improvements
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Driving improvement and standardisation in finance processes to maximise efficiency and quality of KPI reporting
About you
- Part-Qualified accountant (or qualified by experience)
- At least 2 years relevant experience working in a similar role
- Experience of a manufacturing environment
- Strong financial modelling skills ; pivot tables and manipulation of data
- Good Communication skills
- Excellent prioritisation skills
