CMA Recruitment Group are partnering with an international manufacturing organisation based in Farnborough to recruit a Financial Controller to cover a period of maternity leave.
The Financial Controller will ensure efficient financial control, reporting requirements are adhered to and be responsible for forecasting, taking an active lead in supporting future financial strategies/budgets are set and financial risk in minimised.
Key responsibilities
- Direct, control and manage small finance department team to ensure that they are appropriately motivated;
- Provide advice and guidance on financial performance and efficiencies, assisting commercial managers around the business with financial situations;
- Develop and control the company’s budgets to ensure that all financial targets are met and variances from budgets are identified and reported;
- Preparation of the company's financial accounts (management account and statutory accounts) to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time;
- Ongoing cash management & Foreign exchange management;
- Lead the annual audit within the deadlines set by the parent.
Suitable Candidate
- We are looking for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant who can demonstrable experience in a senior management/leadership position of the same or similar nature;
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
