Financial Controller - 6 Month Contract

Our client is a privately-owned global business based in Great Yarmouth.  They are seeking an Interim Financial Controller for a 6-month project focusing on reporting, cashflow management, and the transition to a new accounting system. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting Excellence: Lead the production of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards.
• Cashflow Optimization: Implement effective strategies to optimize cashflow, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial liquidity.
• Budget Setting Support: Play a pivotal role in supporting the budget-setting process, providing insights and analysis for strategic decision-making.
• System Transition Leadership: Drive the successful transition to a new accounting system, overseeing the implementation process for a seamless shift.
• Global Support: Provide ad-hoc financial support to our overseas offices, fostering collaboration and ensuring financial goals are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Professional Qualification: Qualified accountant with recognized accountancy qualifications (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Financial Control Experience: Proven experience as a Financial Controller, demonstrating expertise in reporting, cashflow management, and budget support.
• Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, particularly in overseeing system transitions.
• Global Exposure: Previous experience supporting overseas offices and working in a global business environment.

Contract Details:

Duration: 6-month contract.
