Job Description
- Supervising accounting operations and financial reporting processes
- Assisting in the development and monitoring of budgets
- Providing strategic financial guidance and risk management
- Coordinating with external auditors and managing internal controls
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Participating in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Maintaining and nurturing client relationships
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- A recognised professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial / manufacturing industry
- Experience of US GAAP
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Great knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
