Job Title: Financial Controller (UK & European) 
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum
Location: Watford
Contract: Permanent, Full time

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a UK and European Financial Controller located in Watford.

SKILLS REQUIRED
ACA / ACCA Qualified
Min 2 years of Managerial and or supervisory experience within a finance team
Must have extensive knowledge of European and UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
Knowledge of group accounting
Experience in managing cross-border financial operations and multi-currency environments.
Proficient in, Sage, ERP, Excel and financial modelling tools

RESPONSIBILITIES
Overseeing and managing all financial activities within the UK and Europe regions
Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the UK and Europe regions
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Ensure long term projects are accounted for
Lead the annual budgeting process for UK and Europe
Develop accurate forecasts to support business planning
Monitor and manage cash flow
Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, including VAT, corporate income tax etc
