We are currently working with an industry leader based in Derbyshire who are currently recruiting for an interim Financial Controller on a 2-year contract paying c£90k package. Candidates are able to be considered on both a fixed term or day rate contract.
This is a full-time position (37 hours pw) and will be a hybrid contract (2 days WFH).
Daily duties include (but not limited to):
Overseeing the financial accounting and treasury functions for the UK
Directly line managing five, and a total department of 20 accounting staff
Partnering with stakeholders across the business to support on banking, forecasting, balance sheets and accounting practices
Liaising with both internal and external auditors at year end
Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Reviewing, creating and checking that the systems of internal control are operating to safeguard the company’s assets
Producing period accounts and other reports to requisite standards within specified time constraints
Skills, expertise and qualifications required:
ACCA/CIMA/ACA
Excellent experience in financial accounting
Proven track record in leading and developing Finance teams
Strong working knowledge of technical accounting and accounting standards

Friday, 8:30am – 4.00pm
