Salary- A Financial Controller from an SME background with experience in the building maintenance/construction sector is sought by a successful well-established business, based near Dartford in Kent, at a time of growth. Reporting to the Operations Director you will be instrumental in shaping the business as they enter their next phase of development. Duties will include:-
- Overseeing the finance function, and managing, a team of four
- Produce detailed monthly management accounts and commentary for the Board
- Produce and monitor the annual budget
- Detailed cash flow analysis
- Financial planning, analysing the business, pointing out areas to improve, tightening controls
- Detailed cashflow analysis
The ideal person will be 'hands-on’ and keen to improve processes and procedures. Extensive experience with Sage Line 50 is a must as are first-rate interpersonal skills liaising with colleagues at all levels within the business.
