SalaryThe specific role will focus on the accounting and reporting of the group, ensuring the systems and processes are fit for purposes and continually reviewed and improved.
Location – Hybrid 2 days from home and 3 in office.
As Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Working with the FD in provision of divisional management information in line with Group and regional MD requirements (month-end reporting packs).
- Bi-weekly cashflow forecasts support
- Providing technical and process support, working alongside the Management Accountant and Finance Business Partner, as well as closely working with the Shared Services Centre
- Cash and contract budgeting and forecasting support, and co-ordination
- Balance Sheet reconciliation, cleansing, and analysis across the business
- Supporting Tenders & Business plan when required
- Involvement in introduction of new ERP / IT systems
- Assisting in the coordination and completion of audit requirements
- Documentation of support process and procedures
- Assisting with ensuring full VAT, CIS, PAYE compliance.
- Qualified ACCA or CIMA
- All round accounting experience (Management accounting, Financial accounting, Governance, Audit, Tax)
- Built environment experience is desirable
- Accurate and numerate and highly computer literate including Advanced Excel
- Excellent communication skills
