Financial Controller / Finance Manager - 12 Month Contract

Our client is a well established legal firm and they are now looking to recriut a Financial Controller / Finance Manager (ideally with legal sector experience) for a 12 month contract.  Our client works on a Hybrid model, therefore you would only need to work in their Reading office 2 days per week and you can do the other 3 days remotely.

Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the oversight of day to day financial operations of the accounting department including all reporting, financial administration and improving organizational processes and procedures across the board within the accounting function. To ensure all financial information is kept up-to-date for compliance with statutory and business requirements.  You will also be responsible for providing managerial support to the wider team, including credit controllers, accounts payable clerks, cashiers, accounts assistants and the assistant management accountant.
