Trinity House are exclusively working with a high growth Business in Birmingham to recruit a Financial Controller. This is a critical role, bringing rigour and structure to the finance function and helping to professionalise the business further. Hybrid working model in place.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for management of Finance Control and Tax, Finance Operations Hub, Audit, Finance Systems continuous improvements.
- Responsible for maintaining and developing a high quality and optimal financial control environment across the organisation.
- Responsible for managing the relationship with Internal audit, External audit, Tax advisors / authorities.
- Ensuring management accounting activities adhere to group accounting policies, processes, procedures and controls.
- Be a thought leader on finance continuous improvement and develop strong relationships within the group.
Person
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build, develop and maintain relationships.
- Experience of using ERP Systems
- Proven track record of improving controls environment
- Experience of building, leading and developing medium sized teams
