Job Advert: Financial Controller for Renewable Energy Specialist in Edinburgh
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at a renewable energy specialist based in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the company, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and legislation.
* Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
* Manage the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Provide financial analysis and support to the business, including investment appraisals, pricing decisions, and cost analysis.
* Work closely with the in-house team to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Experience working in the renewable energy sector is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum
