Closing Date - Applications close 26th June at 5pm A bank with a little more heart We’re looking for a Financial Crime Advisory Manager to our second line Financial Crime Strategy and Oversight team at Tesco Bank. This role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with all aspects of Financial Crime prevention. The Financial Crime Strategy and Oversight Team covers all aspects of Financial Crime: Internal Fraud, External Fraud, Anti Money Laundering, Sanctions or Anti Bribery and Corruption. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Financial Crime prevention and the role provides a unique opportunity to support end to end Financial Crime compliance across an organisation. You’ll be working alongside a wide range of colleagues including Financial Crime SMEs across all lines of defence, other risk SMEs, payments and change SMEs. In addition to exposure to all aspects of Financial Crime prevention, this role will provide opportunities to learn more about other risk specialisms through various learning opportunities offered by the wide Risk Centre of Expertise. Tesco Bank operates under an Agile structure, bringing together SMEs from a wider range of specialisms as needed. What you’ll be doing * Responsible for supporting the Financial Crime Advisory Senior Manager in n the coordination and delivery (and leading on specific aspects as directed) of; * Defining and supporting the Banks core Financial Crime Prevention strategy and control framework. * Providing SME input to all 3 Lines of Defence as required. * Providing dedicated SME technical support for key projects. * Leading on key aspects of Financial Crime framework activities such as firm wide risk assessment, training needs analysis and horizon scanning, * Engagement with key internal and external stakeholders in relation to best practice, industry initiatives and emerging risks. We need you to have * Experience in a second line team with responsibilities in at least one of the following areas: Internal Fraud, External Fraud, Anti Money Laundering, Sanctions or Anti Bribery and Corruption. * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, knowing when to take the lead in situations and when to escalate. * Anticipate and balance the needs of a wide range stakeholders to instil trust and ensure compliance with Financial Crime prevention regulation and policies. * Ability to adapt approach, demeanour and reprioritise in real time to match the shifting demands of complex situations. And if you have any of these, even better * Experience of providing Financial Crime advice on policies, procedures, and regulation, while making sure advice aligns with organizational strategies and objectives. * Comprehensive risk management knowledge and/or skills- able to identify, assess and prioritise risks and controls. * Experience of designing and delivering Financial Crime training to diverse audiences. * Experience of delivering compliance with regulatory change and participating in industry initiatives. Additional Information Role Alignment Following the announcement regarding Tesco's' [1] strategic partnership with Barclays, this role will support our banking business and will transfer to Barclay's UK towards the end of 2024, subject to regulatory approval.
