About the Role

Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Reading

Salary: £33,500 - £50,300 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing, and family.

Working Pattern: 18 Month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

We are in our new price control, RIIO-ED2 (2023-2028), and finance will play a key role in supporting the business in maximising our current settlement.

Distribution Finance have a fixed term vacancy for an experienced, qualified Financial Performance Analyst to play a key role in the Finance team supporting the performance of our Transformation Programme. Key responsibilities include:

- Using SSEN benefits measurement framework to develop the key metrics, indicators, and targets for assessing the achievement of anticipated quantitative and qualitative benefits.

- Collecting, collating, and analysing data from various sources to track and monitor the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to the anticipated benefits from the Transformation Programme. Developing plans and initiatives to ensure the realisation of anticipated benefits, including identifying dependencies, milestones, and action plans.

- Preparing and presenting regular reports and updates on the status of benefits realisation to PMO lead and leadership team, including senior leadership, project sponsors, and senior business integrators.

- Working closely with the business analysts in the delivery team to monitor the success of process architecture and business performance. Providing a broad range of insightful business analysis to facilitate decision making and identifying potential improvement opportunities, including reviews of CBA / Business Cases.

- Working with the business to identify key risks and opportunities which will inform plans, forecasts, and management reporting.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to:

- Be proficient in performance management methodologies and able to evaluate the effectiveness of the transformation initiative.

- Be proficient in performance data analysis and interpretation and excellent in creating performance reports and presentations.

- Be proficient in using performance management tools and software and experienced in interpreting and assimilating multiple data sources and rendering into meaningful insight and appropriate recommendations and clear actions.

- Be a part or fully qualified accountant with previous experience in transformation programmes and benefits tracking / Management Accountant business-interfacing role.

- Be able to manage multiple complex projects/processes simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
