Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Bhav Kotecha is excited to be working on a exclusive & retained basis to recruit for a newly created Financial Planning & Analysis Manager role based in Northampton on a hybrid basis with travel to the EU required in the first 12 months

This exciting role will pay between £55,000 and £65,000 depending on experiences and qualification. Ideally seeking a CIMA qualified accounting due to the business predominately being in the Manufacturing sector.

Job specification & requirements

• Developing and aligning reporting with UK and European plants
• Interrogation into cost drivers in facilities and driving reductions
• Developing commercial analysis across both facilities and supporting commercial team with pricing activity
• Analysing and understanding variances at both facilities, facilitating the transparency to all applicable stakeholders
• Supporting the FD in preparing monthly material and additional ad-hoc requests from HQ
• Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
• Working knowledge of financial strategies.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Independent thinking and strong planning and prioritisation are essential to success, ability to manage own workload.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Expert in Excel, Power Point, and Word.
• Experience working in manufacturing ideal.
• Strong English language skills both written and oral communication skills - ability to challenge & influence in a commercial environment
• Occasional travel to EU required in the first 12 months
• Qualified accountant with 3 years of PQE (ideally CIMA)
• 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning, analysis, and modelling.
