Role Title: FP&A Manager - Central and Shared
Reports to: Head of FP&A
Location: Hybrid from London or Peterborough HQ
Role purpose
- Take ownership of the central and shared management entities, through the application of effective control and governance and preparation of the yearend financial statements and audit
- Play a pivotal role across investment governance (reporting and planning), including acting as business partner to the PMO and Investment Committee and embedding best practice investment Planning and reporting across the group
Key accountabilities
Accountable for the following;
- Day to day management of the Central and Shared Finance business partner and Central and Shared FP&A Analyst
- Central and Shared month-end close process including the WD-3 to WD + 3 financial reporting of the C&S functions, leading on the WD4 and WD5 calls and supporting the TCSL financial controller to complete the month end on a timely basis
- Central and Shared monthly MBR pack preparation and first review of the final pack
- Group Capex submissions and reporting including reviewing the final monthly capex consolidation for C&S and reporting this to senior management
- PMO reporting/book of work review monthly
- Investment committee activity including agenda, minutes, financials monthly including presenting to the Exec committee in the monthly meetings
- Coordinating the Central and Shared Budgeting and Forecasting cycles
- Central and Shared financial transformation testing including effective management of the testers
- Central and Shared Year-end close process including preparing key papers/testing necessary for the annual audit
- Any ad hoc Central and Shared reporting for Board packs/Execs
- Business partnering with the Board and Finance functions effectively
- Reviewing the C&S Flash submission monthly
- Maintaining a close relationship management with the GDC
- Business partnering with the PMO including SOW/Business case reviews, cost tracker reviews and financial reporting and Analysis

- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across a wide range of seniority, both internally and externally
- Build credibility throughout the global commercial organisation as a creative and supportive function whilst maintaining Group standards on governance and control.

- Actively communicate and seek feedback from colleagues and customers
- Be proactive in the provision of feedback and the delivery of ideas to develop and improve solutions relating to Travelex Finance
General
- Undertakes any necessary training associated with the duties of the post and participates in training and development procedures
- Complies with all Company Health and Safety policies and legislation in the performance of their duties and responsibilities
- Maintains confidentiality and observes data protection guidelines
- Manage expenses in accordance with Company Expense Policy
- Carries out any other reasonable duties commensurate with their capability
Essential
- Strong business partnering and influencing skills in relation to stakeholder management (internal and external) and across matrix reporting lines
- Commercial experience gained in blue chip companies as well as an excellent professional background
Desirable
- Relevant degree from a good university
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or Part Qualified in final stages on professional accountancy qualification
- Experience using Hyperion Financial Management and Anaplan reporting tools.
