Job Description: Financial Reporting Accountant Location: East London (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract (6 months)
Company Overview:
IN2 Consult are representing a client who are within the Real Estate industry who are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team on a day rate contract for 6 months. You will be brought in to provide support in financial and management reporting along with the more commercial duties which include budgeting, forecasting and business partnering.
Job Duties:
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including management accounts, for internal and external stakeholders.Assist with the year-end statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards.Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and analysis.Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for improvement in financial performance.Collaborate with both financial and non-financial management and stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Participate in month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries. Required Qualifications:
ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification. Experience:
Experience in Financial Reporting and management accounting roles.Experience in preparing year-end statutory accounts and working with external auditors.Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in Financial Reporting.Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Real Estate / Housing industry or related sectors.Knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.
