You'll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks, but you'll also be confident collaborating with others, communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO's Partners to enable us to serve our clients effectively . You'll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to our clients.
This role will join the Financial Reporting Advisory (FRA") team as a client facing Senior Manager. This accounting and corporate reporting advice and support that we provide spans across a range of areas including accounting change, GAAP analysis, group reorganisations and structuring of transactions to achieve a desired accounting outcome, climate and corporate reporting and other aspects of accounting, including training.
This role will be your opportunity to join a fast-growing team in a vibrant and modern office environment, working on a variety of technical accounting advisory projects whilst helping to drive the development of the team. This position is ideal for a technically strong individual at a Senior Manager level, who has broad experience of Financial Reporting from either an entity-facing or technical specialist background and who wishes to maximise their potential and the breadth of their experience in a growing professional services firm.
You'll be someone with:

• Professional qualification ACA or ACCA or equivalent.
• Ability to lead and deliver complex accounting and corporate Reporting Advisory engagements, including planning, controlling and completing a diverse range of projects that adhere to firm policy on quality.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence, lead, engage and manage a number of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant technical standards (IFRSs and UK GAAP) and relevant laws and regulations, such as the Companies Act.
