About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with significant relevant experience, to lead our Financial Reporting team based in Aylesbury, working partly in the office and remotely.
Areas of responsibility will include: production of financial reports, budgets, forecast, maintenance of finance reporting systems, and preparation of financial statements.
On the Job you will:
- Be responsible for the day to day management of the Financial Reporting function, ensuring Financial Reporting systems are accurate and effective.
- Produce annual budget, quarterly forecasts and ensure robust budgetary control.
- Produce consolidated Financial Statements and be the first point of contact for external audits.
- Be responsible for providing customer focused financial business partnering service.
- Lead, motivate and support staff to deliver a quality service.
About You
We’re looking for someone who understands how to connect with people and has proven track record of achievements including meeting deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have; over 5 years post qualification experience , worked in social housing or similar industry, experienced in managing a team and proven record of producing finance reports accurately and on a timely basis.
