Financial Reporting Manager (Hybrid)

Job Summary Brighton Permanent JN Dec 12, 2023 £50k - £55k Job Description Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced qualified Accountant - Financial Reporting Manager to join a lovely company based in Brighton. The Financial Reporting Manager will be working on a hybrid basis, working closely with the Head of Finance and be responsible for the production and internal Financial Reporting of the results as well as manage a team. Salary: up to £55K Location: Brighton - hybrid working Financial Reporting Manager duties: Maintain the systems and processes for producing the management accounts Manage the finance team Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis Oversee collation of information and creation of monthly results to ensure accurate and detailed financial information is available Assist with any variances in results from budget to commentary Prepare monthly management accounts with commentaries Review and monitor the P&L, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow, performance as well as the processes and controls Prepare and monitor journals Monitor and manage the accounting system and reporting function, suggesting any improvements Work closely with company auditors Skills and experience required: Proven experience working in a similar Financial Reporting / FP&A / Management - Qualified accountant type role Ideally have experience working with systems such as; SAGE Confident communicator (both verbal and written) Excellent IT skills Morgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency and references to pay rates are indicative.
